
Daniel Charous, MD
Dr. Charous has a long-standing practice in the valley and is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. In addition, he is an active staff member at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Phoenix Children’s Hospitals. At Arizona Desert Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists, Dr. Charous heads a team of experienced and dedicated hearing health professionals, who work within their specialties to provide the best possible care for our patients. Dr. Charous is the immediate past President of the Arizona Society of Otolaryngology.

Mercedes Morris, FNP
Mercedes Morris, FNP, was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She received her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She graduated with her Master’s of Nursing with honors in 2016. Mercedes has experience in Urgent Care as a health care provider and Intensive Care as a registered nurse. Mercedes is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Mercedes is married with three children and enjoys spending time with her family, running, gardening and baking.

Ryan Chang, PA
Ryan Chang is a board-certified otolaryngology physician assistant. He graduated with a master’s in physician assistant studies from Thomas Jefferson University at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was elected and served on the student board. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate studies in molecular and cellular biology with a minor in music at the University of Arizona. Ryan is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology. In his free time he enjoys hiking and golfing.

Beth Sanchez, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Sanchez earned her Master of Arts in audiology from San Jose State University in 1997 and her Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University at Mesa, AZ in 2007. She has more than 15 years of experience in diagnostic audiological evaluations for adults and children, cochlear implants, osseointegrated devices, vestibulonystagmography and hearing aids. She enjoys getting to know her patients and learning the best ways to assist them in hearing better, so they can enjoy a better quality of life.
Dr. Sanchez is originally from California but has lived in Arizona for more than 10 years. She enjoys the amazing Arizona weather and spending time with her husband, two children and dog.

Sadaf Fateh, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Sadaf Fateh received her Bachelor of Science from Mashhad University in Iran, Associate of Science from Mesa Community College and a Doctor of Audiology from A. T. Still University. Dr. Fateh is adjunct clinical assistant professor at Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Fateh specializes in vestibular and balance disorders, hearing and tinnitus disorders, and amplification and rehabilitation for pediatric and geriatric population. Dr. Fateh is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the American Doctor of Audiology, the American Speech, Hearing, and Tinnitus Association and the International Society of Audiology. Dr. Fateh holds an Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing licensure in Arizona and California and a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC’s) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is fluent in English and Farsi.
